STUDENT-TEACHER INTERNS CULMINATION

A REMARK OF AN ART: AN UNENDING LEARNING

Reaching the milestone of finishing the internship journey is commendable thus, a new step achieved. "It was just a blink of an eye and 'blaaagggsss!'; a remarking journey in culminating student-teacher interns is highlighted."  The line which I have said earlier in my time as one of the Masters of Ceremony in the Student-Teacher Interns Culmination at Pantukan National High School (PNHS). Honestly, I am still overwhelmed with what I have reached. It seems so impossible, and now, making its way toward our goals to achieve the degree in our chosen courses is now vivid from the thing which we tend to believe is "obscured".

Nothing was left but fulfillment in my heart as I have touched people through teaching, met exemplary people with different stories, and connected to them through an invisible tie of relation which was things that never crossed my mind to happen. It is true that we should not expect anything, but a fulfilling journey awaits us, future educators in the internship journey. I never anticipated things like these, thus really the moments in which I as an educator in the making am motivated and driven to make a difference.

I will never waste the opportunity and the time exerted by my Cooperating Teacher (CT) in taking the challenge of having an intern in his side. "Kung kabalo lang ka Dong og unsa kahasulan ang uban og naay intern." This was his line when sir Crestitu V. Sialonga (my CT), starts our first conversation in my first day in internship which I realize on the spot, "Hala, basin hasulan si sir nako, dili nalang ko mudayon sa iyaha uyyy." Well, eventually as time passed, I could see how our bond connected as I have reflected on the times when we were talking, we are the same "kung tabian ko, mas labaw si sir." Having our short 'chit-chats' about his life and journey as a teacher left in my mind, as he detailed entail everything as a 'past time' in our vacant. To you sir Sialonga, this journey is an unclear journey without you. You know how intimidated I am during our first meet because you are considered as one of the terror, 'mamagsakay'', and an intelligent teacher in the school, but still, you broke the walls subconsciously proving to me that you will be a helping hand in times that someone is struggling, very understanding to just things; reasonable ones, and very open to any form of connection. Heavyweight tasks, yet you made things bearable. Thank you for the 'fatherly' way of guiding me, be assured that I could reach far because you're one of them that taught me.

To my students, Grade 9 Earth, Mercury, Neptune, Pluto, and Einstein (SSC), you are making my experience a worthwhile one. As I usually hear from some of you "Sir, nakasabot jud mi", "Sir, na emphasized jud nimo ang focus sa topic", "Dali raman diay, salamat sir", and many more kind words from you made me continue this voyage. Remember, that as always say, "Dili nato lisod-lisodon, makasabot ra ta." This will not just be applied in academics, but also in life. I really wanted you to realize that everything will be fine and don't be pressured by time. You keep me energized and let me continue in this field. I am rooting for all of you. I can't wait to see you all achieving your dreams. CIAO and THANK YOU! See you in the soonest!

This will not be the last which I could learn and experience things beyond the comfort of my scope. Hopefully, soon, things will be different, yet another battle to conquer. Thus, without you oh God, these things were too shallow. But you made it so impactful and insightful. Above all, thank you so much, Lord!

Indeed, an environment might change, but the core of learning remains. My internship journey is now closing, but life and learning still moving. Thus, a remark of an art; an unending learning towards the ultimate goal of reaching my dream; to make a difference in the journey of teaching.
