FIELD STUDY 1: DAY 10

I came to school and directly go to this specific learning kiosk, near at the library and principal's office of Pantukan National High School where we will all meet - the student teachers of Kolehiyo ng Pantukan. We're just informed that it will be depends on our decision of where we will be observing; to which classroom we want. I together with me is Ms. Genevieve Anino decided to be together in Grade 7-Gladiola, near at the second canteen of the school. As we arrived in their classroom, their adviser and their Mathematics teacher, is informing them about their obligations in the Home Room Parents and Teachers Association. We said in from of their door "Good morning ma'am, we will be going to observe in this classroom ma'am. Is it just okay, ma'am?", ma'am Angelie De Castro responded, " Yes, ma'am and sir, just find your seats, and be comfortable." What I felt that time calmness because even if I have met or talked to any teacher, I usually feels nervous. Since, it's almost time when we got to the classroom, ma'am De Castro let them prepare for their second subject which MAPEH.
Exactly, 8:30 am, their teacher arrived and start their class on the topic "Holistic Health". Since it is MAPEH subject, the students somehow active to their discussion. It is specified topic on Health. Students were laughing when their teacher throws jokes and which realizes me that humor in a discussion is important, a teacher should be entertaining and comedian as well. They were informed on the quiz on their next meeting. But, the teacher before that, the teacher shares his experiences suring the Pandemic when he diagnosed as COVID-19 positive. The students were zo hooked in his story and I have reflected, that even simple could be elaborated by sharing experiences that I, as future teacher can give as an example. Their discussion is ended 9:25 am.
It is time for recess, when students of Grade 7-Gladiola, go out to their classroom and play outside the classroom and I was observing them, I just compare to what I have experienced too in my grade 7 days; I am just the same as them, playing without minding the heat of the sun. Well, it's part of their childhood the transition will be faster since their 12-13 years old. Going back to their classroom, some students are doing their other subject's task, specifically their embroidery task. But, as minutes have passed. They are all tacked on in the classroom:?; waiting for their third period class which is Aral-Pan subject. Unfortunately, their teacher is not around what they did is talking to their classroom, laughing, and there are dancing.
Hours have passed, it is already 10:30, their teacher is approaching from grade 7-Hyacinth, their teacher in TLE. Some of them were ready of their tools, materials, and equipment for embroidery. What they did the whole period is doing their activity. The teacher told them to finished it, since this friday will be the deadline. The teacher let them take the lunch at 11:40 am; advance for only 5 minutes. Since we have an attendance this, we together with Ms. Anino, go to our little principal - Ms. Deloroso.
We leave the school at 12:05 pm and do our lunch outside. My Day 10 is so good to start my Monday in the school observing. I have not experienced big problem but, hoping to have more experiences that I could learn and will be a gret realization for me. 5 days more!
