FIELD STUDY 1: DAY 11

DAY 11: More days to go and more learnings to come!

This day September 27, 2002 is my Day 11 in Field Study 1. I came to school seven in the morning and it was so bright when sun really lights the school and my inner me. Be positive Dodong! You'll be fine. Even if you're struggling 'cause of vehicle fare, God always made a way. Thanks God! To radiates my positive thinking towards my action, what I did is leaving all my worries at gate and focus on my goal which is to observe and get every moment in the classroom. And as I am on my way, students who passed me, really gives me smiles and even greeted me a "good morning". It does not just boost my vonfidence to face my trials but, this made me fueled. As the classroom of Grade 7 - Gladiola, settled for forst period, the start of their class smootly goes through.

Their first subject is Mathematics and their teacher with it is their adviser who is ma'am De Castro. She discussed and challenge the retention of the students about Adding and Subtracting Intergers. Not all students got the correct answer but, there is this student who correctly answered the question of ma'am De Castro. But, ma'am said to them that "Bakit ang hina nang retention niyo? We need to move forward on the next topic. We had this topic last week na" but in good way and concern delivery. However, her patience dominates and give her all best ro discussed it again and let her students remebered and recover their knowledge about it. They ended well, and students can dekontrate all necessary things from it.

In their second subject, their teacher is not around. However, there is task that they need to accomplished which is to write the note of their next topic in their notebooks. Students are doing their task but, based on my observation there are students who are bot doing their activity and I have realized that this scenario is normal because their teacher is not around. If their is around it would somehow be controlled. In this period, the time is so fast, and ended 9:30 in the morning.

Recess for 15 minutes and their third period is starting. However, the teacher of the third subject is still not around but they are doing their embroidery task until the last period, because as their teacher in last scheduled class let them continue all of it.

My Day 11 was achieved and I'm almost done on my Field Study 1. All were observed and noted for my workbook. It's magical that I reached and achieved this journey. More days to go and more learnings to come!
