FIELD STUDY 2 - DAY 13: More days will pass, and more experience will be gained.

This day will have two periods because my Day 13 is in the afternoon, and I want to finish this Friday. Field Study 2 astonished and inspired me to fill my mind with negative thoughts in the hope of dealing with them. I know my problems are just so small compared to those of the actual teachers in the school to which I am assigned. From their point of view, things were not the same. To put it another way, our responsibilities are "babies" and "tiny" in comparison to their massive, pressured responsibilities. Well, it is not that I don’t want to continue the career I am building, but, honestly, it was forcing me to be driven and to somehow be insightful every day to see the big picture of me in the teaching context.

    Since the first period of my CT is vacant, I was just noticing things around me and trying to visualize the dream I am rebuilding. I have realized that it is not always gold in the situation you are in. The stones are grappled, and this will hit you and cause pain and stress. However, seeing things like this is a sign that I was taking things too seriously, being too objective, and not attempting the style I was in.Hence, in my future days, this thing must be lined up and somehow directed, because the vision I have is so bright if there is hard work and faith.

    All the wisdom has dominated me, and the second period has started, and we are on our way to Grade 10-Diego Silang with Ma'am Jenny. My task, as usual, is to monitor students using a form based on their school's memo to identify those who have reading difficulties.Honestly, I really wanted to have a picture, but it was so time-consuming that I was not able to capture every moment in the reading activity I did. However, from what I have experienced, it is worthwhile; even if I don’t have documentation, this will be a treasured and instilled experience. With almost 20 students, I was able to finish it within one hour, and I was so happy because I exceeded the goal I was targeting in Diego Silang. The one period of my CT is done, and we’re heading to her classroom.

    Since there is one period vacant, what I did was help my CT in checking the students’ quizzes. After an hour, ma'am Jenny's second class of the afternoon was approaching, so I went to Grade 7-Newton for English 7 because my CT needed me to go there and have an attendance and a writing activity, simply copying on the board for their notes.In their classroom, I felt nervous because it was my first time connecting with them since it was just the second time that I encountered them. What I did was review what they had discussed yesterday, and after that, I just wrote all the necessary things on the board. It was a successful one—another experience I have had.

    This afternoon or day keeps me motivated, not only in my teaching responsibilities as an education student, but also in my personal life. It was so amazing that I felt overloaded, yet it was still blessed. More days will pass, and more experience will be gained.
